Mental Health for Everyone teaches young people about mental health. The programme has been adapted to the general curriculum, and is designed as a project of up to three days’ duration.
In Mental Health for Everyone, the topics covered and the structure of the programme vary to suit the ages and prior knowledge of the students.
One of the goals of the programme is to help students to express their own feelings and to become more aware of their own mental health and that of others. This programme will show students where they can seek help when they find it difficult to cope. The material is easy to use, and can be approached as a long-term or a short-term project. The teacher is meant to function as an adviser, not as a therapist for the students.
